Super Start Your Career
Whether you’re looking for a summer internship or your first job, we have an amazing number of opportunities for enhancing your education or starting your career.
Our internship program gets rave reviews from our alumni. It’s a structured program that starts with getting real-world experience with the world leader in supercomputing. During your internship you’ll be on a team, producing real-world work that enhances your own studies and also helps Cray. You’ll also be networking, developing an understanding of the business and developing mentors in the industry.
In addition, you’ll be part of a larger intern group experience. Together you’ll have an orientation, social gatherings, presentations and interaction with company leaders including our CEO, career guidance, facility tours, and an internship conference as a capstone to your experience.
Most opportunities occur during the summer; however, some internships can extend into an additional semester. Generally, we hire between 30 and 40 interns a year and most often in these areas of study: computer science, computational science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, math and physics.
Your Cray internship will be full of learning and discovery while getting you set up for possible full-time employment with Cray after graduation.
